Ensure your candle holders are clean and stable then gently but firmly place each candle into its holder.
Please measure your candle holder diameter before purchasing dinner candles. Different candle holders will have different sizes, vintage candle sticks in particular. If you find that the base of the candle is too big, simply use a butter knife to gently shave away the wax from the bottom of the candle, no more than 1cm high.
If the candles are loose, you can melt the bottom slightly and press them into the holder for a secure fit.
Use a match or a lighter to light the candles from the top, allowing the wick to catch fire. When ready to extinguish, use a candle snuffer to put out the flame gently. This helps avoid wax splatter and prolongs the life of the wick. Alternatively, you can blow out the candles carefully, ensuring not to scatter wax.
By following these instructions, you can enjoy the beauty and warmth of dinner candles safely and effectively.
