Seaspray is a beautiful summer scent with fresh notes of grapefruit, mandarin, blue water lotus and sea moss – a pure refreshing essence of the ocean.  Fresh and uplifting it is truly ” a day on the beach” scent, our personal brand favourite!

Our natural candles in ceramic jars are created with sustainability in mind. Handmade in the UK, these jars are a beautiful example of the craftsmanship and are not destined for the bin after the candle is finished. They can be used again and again with our candle refills. Simply clean the jar, place the refill in the jar and enjoy another beautiful scent from our non-toxic candle range.

Candle jar cleaning tip

We find that the freezer method works the best with our natural wax. For the best results, burn your candle completely, then just place the jar in your freezer overnight. The wax will freeze and peel off the sides of the jar. After the night (or a few hours depending on the amount of wax), you can remove the jar and remove the wax very easily with a blunt knife. Do not use a sharp, pointy implement as this can damage the ceramic seal inside the candle jar. Cold wax will crumble and you can easily discard it in the bin. Do not pour hot water into the candle jar while it is still very cold!

Let the jar warm up and wash the inside of it with warm, soapy water. Our natural wax is water-soluble, so it is easy to clean. Make sure you remove most of the wax while it is still cold before washing the jar.

Wipe it with a clean, damp cloth and your candle jar is ready to be used again!

Our candle refills are made from 100% natural wax without synthetic additives and is sensitive to the environment temperature. This means it shrinks in colder temperatures and expands if the temperature is warmer. If the refill does not fit in the jar perfectly, simply place the refill in the fridge overnight or in the freezer for an hour hour. Please do not leave it in the freezer for more than that, the wax can crumble.

How to use

Our candle refills are designed to be used in our ceramic candle jars.

Please DO NOT use these candle refills on their own, these are not pillar candles.

These refills can be used in our 280g black candle jars. Simply clean the jar once the candle is finished and put the candle refill in the jar following the instructions.

To avoid ‘tunneling’ please burn your candle for at least 2 hours or until the wax melt pool has reached the sides of the container. Don’t burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.

Make sure to trim the wick to approx. 5mm each time you light your candle.

Our candle jars are handmade and designed to last, we encourage to repurpose and recycle them.
